My book was read aloud. A game was played. Books were signed. Cupcakes were consumed.
Thank you to everyone who came to the book launch yesterday in Charlottetown, especially my family who traveled from Nova Scotia to be there. A million thank-you’s go to Colleen for helping me so much and keeping me sane. Thank you to the Confederation Centre Public Library for letting me use their space.
I will note that I was a sleepy zombie directly after. All that socializing basically drained this introvert. I can’t wait to get back to writing the sequel. I guess I should be working on wedding stuff too…
To the teen who stole a bunch of cupcakes from my food table and took them back to his friends in another area of the library: Yes, I saw you. Bad karma is coming your way, my cupcake stealing friend. Just because my book is about a thief doesn’t mean you should steal.
