I made it through the wilderness. Somehow I made it through.
With excited butterflies in my stomach, I sat down and wrote the last two chapters of the sequel to Molly Miranda: Thief for Hire. Having now completed two novels, I can safely say the last several chapters are my very favorite chapters to write.
I finished the book in just under 11 months, including the multi-month hiatus I took off from writing during the summer to deal with wedding stuff. I plan on writing book 3 much faster though. I know my current limits, I know how to stretch those limits and I think I know how I can expand on those next time ’round.
I have several months of self-editing ahead of me, followed by a developmental edit, a copy edit and a proofing. I plan to announce the title, cover and release date early next year so keep an eye out for that.
Even in its current unedited state, I’m happy with it and I can’t wait to share it with everyone.
I’ll give you a bit of a hint about where Molly is off to this time: It’s the city featured in the graphic above…
